Redcliffe Fishing - SUNDAY 26th July - Are you keen ?

#1 Post by Thecoolmango » Fri Jul 03, 2015 10:57 am

HI all.

I am new and green to Yak fishing and the Forum - I have been a keen angler for as long as I can remember. I know many productive spots in and around the Redcliffe area and also the rocks/reefs and weed flats ( a few secret spots as well) I have been both boat and land fishing the area for quite continuously for over 20 years.

Right now -I am getting out with another member of the forum ( and that has been a great adventure) and the experience and company has proved to be invaluable.

I am converting my style from bait fishing to soft plastics and lures, and staying upright - I am new to both those things  ... So if you live in the Redcliffe area and keen to get out and get on the water fishing- if you are wanting to head out I am keen. .... You have time to plan and ask others and dust off the yak. I can promise you - you are not as green as I am - and you you are wanting to share your knowledge and skill - I am all ears.

So - lets see - JULY 26th SUNDAY . I thought I would see we we can get a group of us together to hit the water and fish the Redcliffe Area. I think it i low tide 10:00am -sh

We need somewhere to meet, around 5:30am - for 6:00am am departure -

Look - I am newer than most, probably have a Yak that would make you laugh out loud - but I am need and wanting learn ! more importantly I want to be on the water fishing successfully - Also also want to get out beyond this trip on fresh water etc...

Sideouting ....BTW - any chase SQUID in the Redcliffe area ? if do where and when ? I would be keen to be in on that trip...

Cheers
Joe

At this stage I'm in, I'll be launching from Queens beach boat ramp at 5.30-6am
Planning on fishing off Queens, Scarby main reef will be congested with good weather predicted this weekend.
Cheers,
Kym
