where is a good spot to launch.... im brissy southside...thinking maybe a some of the canals on the coast but any advice for someone who has well and truly got the "L" plates

Gday mate I live on the Southside also and go out with the Gold Coast mob who I really enjoy having a fish with. Dodge and Toni (estuary girl) are very helpful. They are going out on Dec 6 and a midweek ear on Dec 9 which I am definitely going to.
Have a look and send them a message. Les

Blanchy just a small correction to Les' comment in the quote.

The Dec 6 outing has been cancelled, however the Dec 9 event will still be held at a venue to be named later in the week, and you would be very welcome as he suggests.
